No concencus before the Caucus

Republican candidates vying to unseat US President Barack Obama have been pulling out all the stops in a bid to win over voters ahead of their party's first vote in the state of Iowa. Many voters, however, remain undecided, while others have strongly differing opinions on who to vote for. Al Jazeera's Alan Fisher reports from Adel, Iowa.

I, personally, don't feel calm when I see what an indescribedly pathetic lot are proposing themselves to hold one - if not the - most powerful positions on this earth. With the exception of Ron Paul, whose ideas on foreign policy are just straightforward common sense, most of the contenders are warmongers, who would lead the US into very dangerous waters in the highly unlikely event of them ever coming to office. I find it incomprehensible in a country with so many outstanding intellectuals, and leading the way in a multitude of spheres, that the Republicans have only been able to produce these nonentities. The only positive thing is that they will ensure the re-election of Obama - which, for a lot of people, wouldn't be the ideal outcome either.

Nice to see people expressing their views in a calm and uninterrupted manner (or was that careful editing?). Looking forward to more of this as the campaign goes on. As a distant observer, Romney looks the most "Presidiential" to me,but things can change very quickly in US politics.....
It's a shame videos don't work directly on this site on an iPad (they probably use AdobeFlash I guess which has never been iPad friendly). Still, we can go into YouTube and they work there.
